Lena Headey, the beloved queen of the movie 300, is a British born actress known for her roles in hit movies like, 300, The remains of the day, The brothers Grimm and possession.
She has also starred in various TV shows including, Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles and in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Lena Headey was born in Bermuda to an English police officer who was stationed there as an advisor. She returned to England at the age of 8 with her family and had her first acting gig as a student at Shelley College. Her first big movie was called Waterland.
Lena Headey’s other acting endeavors involve roles in The Jungle Book, Mrs Dolloway, Gossip, Aberdeen, The parole Officer, Possession as well as Ripley’s Game.
Lena Headey is currently married to musician, Peter Paul Loughran, and lives in California. She also has a son. Besides acting, Lena is a boxing enthusiast and took lessons in London. She is a loyal Yoga fan and is a vegetarian.
Prior to her marriage she was involved with actor Jason Flemyng and had a tattoo that said ‘Jason’ in the Thai language. They met at the set of the Jungle Book and stayed together for nine long years before calling it quits. She met Johnny Cicco later on and was engaged to him before getting married to musician Peter Paul Loughran.
Lena Headey has quite a following in both UK and USA due to the fact that she has taken on different types of roles that show her talented nature and the ability to take on difficult projects.
